When engaging in a mindfulness practice, you begin to notice a dynamic movement with how you experience the world around you and how you perceive yourself. The more you dedicate time to practice, the more you notice and recognize this interplay. It is important to recognize the movement because your external reality, your outer world, is a projection of your internal reality, your inner world. Projection of your mind space is described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and has been a lovely reminder to continually check in with the environment we create within ourselves. Our internal reality, your inner world, is composed of the thoughts you engage in, your self-dialogue, our triggers, the mind and heart space. It is vital to note that your internal reality, our inner worlds, is within our control and to upkeep with the garden of our minds and hearts.
